You dream of Africa, in a shameless way! The Mattighofen based brand has dominated the Dakar for several years, no matter whether the race was in Africa or South America. KTM has put all of its rally knowledge in its Adventure bikes.

That was clearly show with the KTM 790 Adventure, and now with the 890. Yes, because the engine has now grown to 899 cc: it complies with Euro5 regulations and it has gained 10HP for a total of 105 HP, an excellent torque power of 100 Nm and a very low weight. The crankshaft is new and it has a much smoother output. The pistons have been redesigned and are now lighter. The six-speed transmission has a shorter shift lever and the clutch and gearbox are now stronger.

Apart from the graphics, the design hasn’t been changed, with the same, excellent, frame and die-cast aluminum swingarm. The bike has been equipped with WP adjustable suspensions both at the front and rear, while the steel rear frame is new and lighter.

On the there are the same features we had appreciated about the 790: TFT display, that can be connected to the smartphone, tubeless spoke rims, adjustable seat, cruise control, cornering ABS, riding modes, ride by wire, traction control and LED headlights.
