Fabio Di Giannantonio: "I give myself an 8! MotoGP is a spaceship, you never get used to it!"
The Roman rider, still without a saddle for 2023, looked back on his second year in the top class: "If MotoGP is 100 a Panigale or Moto2 is 50! Biaggi? We talk often".
Smile and exuberance are part of his character, and he is one of the most fun riders to have in front of a microphone: debonair but also analytical, likeable and direct. It would be a shame for MotoGP to lose Fabio Di Giannantonio: "MotoGP is a crazy object, a spaceship, it goes so fast, you never get used to it, the braking is incredible. The perfect bike, which doesn't exist. I've never ridden a Superbike but if the MotoGP is 100 the Panigale or Moto2 is 50!".
On the training he does at home, him from Rome, far from the Romagna land of riders: “If I call Max Biaggi? Ehehe it would be nice to train with him, there would be so much to learn, but we talk often. I also train running, on 10 km I'm doing well: 4 minutes per kilometre”.
On the present and the future: “I have always sweated for the job at Gresini, in MotoGP nothing is taken for granted, you are in one of the most coveted places in the world. With the growth we have made this year I expect to grow again next year, and aim for the top spots”.
