H-D Revolution: one engine, two souls
PanAmerica and Sportster S, two different declinations of the Revolution Platform. Francesco and Maurizio casually meet, and examine - by riding the bikes - the two latest souls of the Harley-Davidson new deal
If they called it Revolution, it is certainly not by chance, because the new Harley-Davidson engine is a real flight forward for the most traditionalist brand of motorcycling. A revolution that was announced, desired and carefully thought out in order to attract a new public, which is now also looking for segments hitherto unexplored by the Milwaukee company.
The new engine also marks the birth of two models that only five years ago we would never have expected from Harley-Davidson, the new Sportster S - perhaps the one that was the least disruptive of the two - and above all the maxienduro Pan America, a model capable of making the public cry out in scandal, but then attracting it as few H-D models have been able to do in recent years.
Maurizio Gissi and Francesco Paolillo enjoy them on a beautiful mixed mountain road, and then tell us about them in detail.
