Honda

Honda officially enters the electric market with the EV Fun (code name WN7), which has gone from a 2024 concept to a production model at EICMA 2025. ‘The world's largest player is making its first true electric model in every sense,’ explains Andrea Venturini of Honda Italia.

The main feature is the 9.3 kWh battery, which acts as the chassis's load-bearing element, a solution that optimises rigidity and weight distribution. Similar dimensions to the CB 750 Hornet, rear single-sided swingarm and belt drive to reduce friction and increase efficiency. An IMU inertial platform with cornering ABS completes the technical package.

The motor has a peak power of 50 kW (also available in 18 and 11 kW versions for A2 and A1 licences) with a torque of 100 Nm. The declared range is 140 km, but the strong point is charging: 5.5 hours with a domestic socket, 2.4 hours with CCS2. Top-up from 20 to 80% takes only 30 minutes, giving 89 km of range, making it suitable for touring.

Completely new design with an unprecedented stylistic language and a new logo that will identify the entire future electric range, including an urban scooter and an Outliner custom concept.
