Reliable, robust and safe: for a quarter of a century now, the Mercedes-Benz Vito has been appreciated in many areas as a spacious and versatile partner in the mid-size commercial vehicle segment. On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of its market launch, product innovations are continuing.

This versatile vehicle now offers customers a new safety feature: Rear Cross Traffic Alert. Blind Spot Assist, which is included in the optional Driving Assistance package and Lane tracking package, will be enhanced with this important and useful feature. As part of the late 2020 restyling, Mercedes-Benz Vans had already introduced additional safety and driver assistance systems on board the Vito, such as DISTRONIC, Active Brake Assist and the digital interior rear-view mirror. Since the market launch of the first generation in 1996, a total of more than 1.8 million units of this popular commercial vehicle series have been sold.
