Lucky Explorer Project
MV Agusta has revealed its intention to return to the adventure segment of the legendary Dakar of the 80s and 90s? Nico Cereghini and Andrea Perfetti tell us what it's all about
MV Agusta Lucky Explorer Project
The name Lucky Explorer alone is enough to take us back to the dunes of Africa. Let's go back to the Dakar in which Italian motorcycles and drivers were the protagonists. It is no coincidence that the initiative we are talking about is linked to this period of great adventures, great riders and, of course, great motorcycles.
"An initiative" - explain the MV headquarters - "with multiple implications aimed at rally and off-road enthusiasts, whose goal is to spread the history and culture of the House of Schiranna, inextricably linked to the legend of the great African rallies of the golden age".
This project will be developed on the dedicated website and its Instagram page, creating a family of enthusiasts, who will have access to special content and exclusive previews, receive product updates as well as having the ability to start threads of conversation on the forum. They will also be able to become Lucky Explorer Ambassadors who will be able to invite their friends to participate in the experience, thus increasing their visibility within the community.
And above all, the project will take shape at EICMA, at stand M48 in Hall 22, where two new bikes will be unveiled, for which online pre-orders will be open from 23 November. We will tell you about them through the voices of Nico Cereghini and Andrea Perfetti, who from the stand of the show - full of suggestions of that period - tell us about the past and the future behind the name Lucky Explorer together with the protagonists of the time.
