We went to Japan to see what tomorrow's mobility looks like
In Japan, manufacturers show the best of their technologies and their sharpest proposals to try to understand which mobility solution (or solutions) will be the preferred one for each individual use
We flew to Tokyo to see, understand and immerse ourselves in one of the most forward-looking exhibitions, especially as far as the big four Japanese manufacturers Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha are concerned: it is no longer called the Tokyo Motor Show, because now behind the name Japan Mobility Show lies a world not only dedicated to what is available today in terms of new motorbikes, but also to future prospects.
In the Land of the Rising Sun, manufacturers are showing the best of their technologies and their sharpest proposals in an attempt to understand which mobility solution (or solutions) will be the preferred one for each individual use.
So we are not just talking about internal combustion engine Vs electric motor, but also about whether hydrogen will soon be in the game, whether we will be driving around in flying cars, which solution could challenge the internal combustion engine in Cross-country competitions or, again, how to redefine the ergonomics of motorbikes or make them safer and make them unassailable to loss of balance and grip. In short, the future: which is advancing in small steps, but of which in Tokyo - every year - we at least see the imprint.
