Andrea Belluschi started out as a post-producer, not in the darkroom but still behind the scenes, and then he was handed a camera with a simple yet daunting task: come on, show us what you can do. Needless to say, up until that point, Andrea didn't know much, but that's just how Maestro Dario Agrati is.

What's more, that camera was needed to do a job... a machine job, bombarding backups of the Maestro's work. Today we call it paying your dues, and judging by the results, it was time well spent. Little by little, he found the time to devote himself to creativity, to give his own version of events in a personal interpretation. It worked almost immediately.

Of course, nothing is simple. Competition and a sport that doesn't help, especially with sets that are often disastrous or unreachable. And then the job got more complicated. The evolution of equipment, post-production, distribution to newspapers and clients, and above all the increasingly frantic rush, sometimes accelerated by digital technology to the point of unreasonableness, of those receiving the images. But that's laughable today. Today, Andrea Belluschi is one of the strikers (they're all centre forwards, to tell the truth) on Jonty Edmunds' team!
