The philosophy that made TM great becomes a film
Between ambitious and dominant projects, the docufilm of the historic Pesaro-based company tells its intrinsic story of passion
TM is famous in the motor world for its motorbikes, works of art, full of special parts.
When you come into contact with a motorbike that leaves the Pesaro factory, you can really sense the passion that goes into the creation of such an object, thanks also to all those parts machined from billet that are preferred to the more classic, and less refined, moulded or cast counterparts.
The passion, boundless and irrepressible, is what struck us most during the ‘premiere’ of Ad Ogni Costo, the docufilm made by TM that tells its story. An unusual point of view, a narrative, which, yes, pays tribute to the great champions but which, for once, does not let them speak, leaving the floor to the protagonists who often remain behind the scenes.
Among the protagonists, the patron, Gastone Serafini, could not be absent, who, visibly moved, recounted several anecdotes, one more compelling than the other, such as the one concerning the Dakar experience. Gastone is body and soul of TM moto, as he can often be found in the production department.
As with the motorbikes, the making of this docufilm is in full TM moto style and therefore home made.
Everything was taken care of by Alex Serafini, Alessia Marangio and Giovanni Malatrasi Gerani, who took care of finding all the ‘historical’ material, the writing and also the technical part of the editing.
The objective, Alex told us, was to bring together the entire history of TM in a documentary that would let the protagonists who wrote the history of the Pesaro factory speak for themselves. The result is a montage of about 80 minutes that will be released in various episodes on YouTube starting in November.
