Roberto Cingolani
The motorcyclist minister
who will save the world
THE INTERVIEW
The minister for Ecological Transition, a great fan of two wheels, will have to transform Italy (to reduce CO2) and to do so he will have to change the habits of Italians
A nice chat with Roberto Cingolani, both as a passionate motorcyclist and as minister for Ecological Transition.
A very important, fundamental role that will see him engaged in "designing" and initiating change in Italy over the next 30 years.
The first goal to be achieved is to reduce CO2 emissions by 55% by 2030 and then reduce them to zero by 2050. It will be important to be incisive and quick to safeguard the environment, but - explains Cingolani - we will also have to avoid putting too much stress on the social fabric.
We also talked about his great passion for motorbikes (and bikes too). The Minister is a tireless motorbike traveller and rides his Goldwing for thousand of kilometers.
