We have addressed a very important, sensitive issue, and one that, unfortunately, has been in the news over the past year within the world of amateur motorbike racing
In 2023 there were five deaths due to accidents on the track, within an IMF motorbike trophy,
namely the Trofeo Italiano Amatori. Four deaths occurred on the race weekend and one on the
pre-race Thursday, in each case, we are talking about 5 motorbike enthusiasts, 5 riders who unfortunately, for
different reasons, met with fatal accidents and the question we all asked ourselves was: was it
possible to avoid them?
Public opinion and social media have gone wild on the subject and we at Moto.it, have
wanted to delve into the subject with three special guests, who are setting rules and actions to
change the regulations and who are doing their utmost to ensure an increasingly
safe, both in terms of tracks, general organisation and the choice of participants in races.
