We interviewed five of them, asking them the same questions. The Spanish Eva Blanquez,
Communication Manager of the Kawasaki Racing Team, has in recent years been the "shadow" of Alex
Lowes and Jonathan Rea. Sol Alvarez is also Spanish and is the Team Coordinator of Yamaha GRT,
a guardian angel who organises the travel and logistics of the entire Italian team. The Dutchwoman
Monique Trip has been a constant presence in the derivatives paddock for many years and carries out the duties
Team Coordinator for one of the historic teams of the world derivatives championship: the Ten
Kate Racing Team.
Chiara Mancini and Lisa Tosetti are the beating heart of Sandro Carusi's Motoxracing and Team
Motocorsa of Lorenzo Mauri. Chiara is the Team Coordinator while Lisa is the Communication
Manager, but working in two private teams I have seen them apply stickers on the fairings, or
collect riders' statements while booking flights and hotels for the team for the next round.
