Lightning strike
There are innovations that, without being too noticeable, radically transform our lives and our experiences. But not even one of the greatest forces of nature is enough to change a motorcycle as Energica has done with the EMCE engine.
If you're an avid rider, you most likely enjoy technology as well and you know how simple details can make big differences. An engine is anything but a small detail, but looking at the Energica Eva Ribelle it might not be easy to notice the changes at first glance. But as it has happened to Edo, you just need to open the throttle wide and have some fun cornering to understand that something has changed ...
The EMCE engine is the true beating heart found as standard on all of the Modenese company's motorcycles. It is a synchronous reluctance motor, assisted by permanent magnets (PMAC), capable of generating torque that exceeds virtually any conventional internal combustion motorcycle.
Thanks to the new engine with a peak power of 126 kW at 8500 rpm and liquid cooling that ensures greater performance, the Energica range is lighter by 10 kg, with a relative increase in range between 5 and 10%, depending on the driving style.
The new colors and the renewed lettering of the Energica wink at design lovers. Metal Black for Ego, Rosso Corsa and Stealth Grey for Eva Ribelle, Riviera Green, Bormio Ice and Sunrise Red for EsseEsse9; these are the colors that characterize the MY2022 range.
