Franco Acerbis is an icon of our passion. For me he is also and above all a Maestro, as well as an invaluable friend. But we are not here to congratulate each other. Long hours of travel with Mr. Franco along the Dakar and Africa Eco Race routes have brought to light incredible stories, episodes of passion that are not common.
Mr. Franco's dedication to the vicissitudes of the motorcycling world, with a geographic imprinting markedly linked to off-roading, is ultra well known. So is the entrepreneurial commitment finely woven with sporting involvement. we speak of the production of revolutionary accessory parts, of sponsorships that transcend the traditional terms of support, of the organisation of races and creations, of which we will speak, that are completely unprecedented and original.
One of these is the idea, and therefore the project, of an International 6 Days of Enduro, organised in Brazil, but with an Italian matrix... Italian, from Bergamo, as Mr. Franco says it could not be otherwise. The genius idea was to bring to South America a team of 200 proven people, and to support the inexperienced Brazilian team in running the event.
