Honda CL500
Don't call me baby
Winking at a young audience and female motorcyclists is Honda's new offering, the CL 500
Easy Scrambler
Derived from the Rebel 500 but reinterpreted in a scrambler key, the CL draws inspiration from the CL72 of 1962, is rideable with an A2 licence and is undeniably stylish!
The low saddle, only 79 centimetres from the ground, and the low weight of 192 kilos with a full tank of petrol make it the ideal choice for those entering the world of two-wheelers and, why not, off-road too.
The 19 cm front wheel, the high exhaust and the possibility of equipping it with a 3 cm higher seat allow the CL 500 to tackle some dirt roads without any problems, to start "dirtying the tyres" in complete safety.
The 471 cc twin-cylinder engine is strong with 46.6 hp at 8,500 rpm and a torque of 43.4 Nm at 6,250 rpm.
Braking is provided by a nice 310 mm disc at the front and a 240 mm disc at the rear.
Suspension features include a 41 millimetre telescopic fork and a twin rear shock absorber with 5-step preload adjustment.
A bike with great style, which also lends itself to customisation thanks to an interesting series of accessories offered by Honda and the possibility of choosing three packages: Adventure, Travel and Style, to tailor your own CL.
