CIV, the champions of 2023: here they are all together exclusively!
After a CIV season full of excitement and twists and turns, we meet them all again in the Motofestival digital round table to tell their point of view
The 2023 season will be remembered by many as the turning point, by others as the season of the return to victory and the first ever victory. The certain thing is that we have experienced in all the categories screaming races, with lots of overtaking, with interesting times on all the tracks and a very high level, especially in the SSP600NG and SBK categories, where the Italian title was disputed until the last weekend.
Here they are, in front of all of us, telling us their feelings, emotions and how they have lived from 'under the helmet' this season that has seen the first title in history in the CIV Femminile with Roberta Ponziani, the return to the Italian championship of Simone Corsi with victory in the Supersport600 Next Generation, the supremacy of the Spaniard Vicente Perez Selfa in Moto3 (the only one absent from the interview, as he is committed in the Moto3 World Championship to replace the injured Ana Carrasco), the confirmation of Bruno Ieraci's talent in SS300, the rising talent Edoardo Liguori in Premoto3 and Lorenzo Zanetti's first resounding victory in CIV SBK. Together with us, he coolly analysed what happened in that much-discussed 'Variante bassa' at Imola in race 2, the race that meant the Italian title for the rider from Brescia, but also a lot of controversy on social media after the outburst of defending champion Michele Pirro.
Here are their words and happy MotoFestival 2023 to all!
