Honda CBR600RR
a beautiful comeback
Three letters that have become legendary and a career spanning more than three decades full of satisfaction
"A wonderful return to the European market," says Costantino Paolacci: the renewed interest around this type of motorbike has prompted the Japanese manufacturer to reopen the dream drawer of many, and above all new, sports motorcyclists.
Three letters entered the myth, a career spanning more than three decades full of satisfaction both on the road and on the track. After a pause for reflection, it is about to reignite the passion, with technical contents as queen of the category. 121 hp (89 kW) at 14,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 63 Nm at 11,500 rpm, for a weight of only 193 kg in running order with a full tank of petrol.
The engine has been totally revised, the materials updated, and the electronic equipment upgraded to the best Honda has to offer on its sports bikes. HSTC traction control is adjustable to 9 levels (plus 'zero'), 3 predefined Riding Modes and 2 customisable in all parameters, power delivery and engine braking adjustment, and just for good measure, 3-level wheelie control. The standard Quickshifter electronic gearbox can be adjusted to three levels of sensitivity. Hard to aspire to anything more comprehensive.
The price is yet to be determined.
