Triumph Scrambler 900: all new for 2026
Triumph revamps the Scrambler 900 for 2026 with significant upgrades
Triumph presents the revamped Scrambler 900 at EICMA 2025, a model that has undergone ‘the most significant evolution’ in the Modern Classic range, according to Alberto Marazzini of Triumph Italia. The focus is on dynamic behaviour rather than pure performance.
The main changes concern the chassis. Showa upside-down forks make their debut at the front, absent on the previous generation, improving control and handling, especially in mixed road and off-road use. At the rear, a new double-sided aluminium swingarm borrowed from the Speed Twin 900 provides greater rigidity and agility.
A complete technology package with ride-by-wire throttle, different riding modes and a six-axis IMU inertial platform. The latter enables traction control and ABS with cornering function, allowing safe braking even when the bike is leaning. There is an off-road mode for ‘escapades’ on dirt roads with less invasive electronics.
Tank with revised flares, side panels with brushed aluminium inserts, redesigned rear mudguard with integrated light. Twin high exhausts maintain the scrambler identity. Tapered but more comfortable seat, with a tail that facilitates rider movement for dynamic riding. Decent passenger space.
The Scrambler 900 arrives in early 2026 at £11,990, confirming its status as a key model in the Triumph range thanks to a concept that ‘has its roots in history, from Steve McQueen onwards’.
