Max Sirena tells how his passion for motorbikes began
Great character, Max Sirena. Passionate about sports, tennis and motorbikes, he was captured by sailing from an early age: wind surfing, dinghies, then higher and higher up to winged monohulls.
He won the America's Cup with the Oracle team in 2007 and today his name is linked to Luna Rossa: three editions of the America's Cup, the Vuitton Cup victory in 2000 with ITA45, the title of Sailor of the Year in 2013... And a few months ago the challenge with New Zeland that the Italian boat lost with great honour.
Max is already working on the next challenge with the AC75, a seventy-five footer. Here he tells us how the spark for motorcycling came about, especially enduro but also travel and even track.
