Sammy Miller and his incredible museum
The Sammy Miller Museum is a place where you can admire some of the most beautiful motorbikes ever produced and where you can meet its volcanic, exuberant, passionate founder, from whom we had some of the marvels explained to us
If you are passing through Bournemouth, book an extra night in a hotel. Because a visit to the Sammy Miller Museum is not an option, it's almost a must.
Who cares if it rains or if the weather in the English countryside is not kind to motorcyclists, the museum around there is not only worth a visit but deserves regular in-depth examinations because it is not possible in one visit to fully enjoy all the vintage motorbikes, all the goodies and rarities inside. And above all, do as we do: wait for Mr Miller, ask him to be your tour guide and thank the god of motors that there are people like him, capable of founding such an interesting and exclusive exhibition that, moreover, never stops enriching and improving.
Sammy is a racing legend, he is 91 years old, his collection exceeds 450 motorbikes of absolute value, including the Moto Guzzi 500 8-cylinder, the AJS Porcupine E90 and the Moto Guzzi Bicilindrica, he has raced - winning - in road races and trials but every day he is at the Museum to pass on his passion and expertise to those who pass through its doors. We have been there, and this is our story.
