Le storie di Nico - Moto d’epoca a Bologna: le più belle
Personal taste. Everyone has their own taste and experience, just as every motorbike on display at the show has its own history. Here are the most peculiar motorbikes seen at Bologna, the unique ones, the rare ones or even just the beautiful ones. Motorbikes that speak to the heart, that have won much or nothing
A day in Bologna to visit the Auto e Moto d'Epoca exhibition, now in its 40th edition and for the first time with a more adequate space dedicated to motorbikes. This is the largest market in Europe for vintage cars and parts, enthusiasts attend in large numbers, and the two-wheelers have gathered in 15,000 square metres some beautiful pieces from private collections and dealers.
In this video, Nico talks about the motorbikes and the emotions of a special day. His favourites include some motorbikes of his youth (as happens to all of us), some models of rare beauty such as the Vincent 1000, other pieces that evoke figures and adventures of the past: such as Massimo Tamburini's HB1 Bimota or Lucio Dalla's personal Ducati Scrambler 250. Or Valentino Rossi's RCV 211 presented here by LCR: the year 2002 of the first MotoGP world title.
There are also curiosities, some big like the Riva 500 four-cylinder with compressor, a unique piece reconstructed by Benito Battilani who has made a book of it; others small like the first motorised scooter in the world.
