Catch me if you can
In the construction of sports tyres, the transfer of technology from racing is crucial. Dunlop is a key player in this sector and takes advantage of this involvement to develop its own sports products, including those that you can fit on your motorbike
By competing you learn
Racing has always been an indispensable testing ground for the definition and development of new products, and in this Dunlop is favoured by the fact that it participates in various championships and types of races, which allows it to rely on an enormous database.
Dunlop is present and protagonist in the Moto2 Moto3 World Championship, the Endurance World Championship, and is perfect for defining the compounds and technical characteristics of the tyres we use in trackdays or minor races.
In Italy Dunlop is present in the Pre-Moto3, Moto3, National Trophy 600 and CIV SBK categories, with a range of different products, but with a lowest common denominator represented by the incessant search for performance improvement.
The KR is representative of this type of tyre, which has taken full advantage of motorsport knowledge.
KR 108 (rear), in the unprecedented 200/70 size that best matches the 125/80 of the 109 (front), is available in four different compound solutions (0-1-2-3), with the intermediate ones also suitable for trackday use.
GP Racer D212 and D213 GP PRO represent another opportunity for track lovers, with the former being dedicated to track enthusiasts, who perhaps don't disdain arriving in the saddle of their adventure companion already rubberized, and the latter being designed to consciously enter the world of racing tyres.
To give you a better understanding, however, we also asked three riders for their impressions of these products. Michele Pirro, Roberto Farinelli Simone Saltarelli have the floor!
