Centauro NS

The design of the Centauro models combines the best of European technology and Italian style, with a design studied in close collaboration with Frascoli Design.

The Centauro NS radial tire for super sport motorcycles has been designed to enhance the pleasure of riding on road in the atmospheric conditions and temperatures common to the European continent.

The multi-spoke profile was developed to ensure control and precision in all riding conditions as well as uniformity of wear throughout the life of the tire.

The optimized zero-degree steel belt construction ensures stability and high-end dynamic behavior in all conditions, and at any level of riding.

Vredestein has developed a new generation of compounds, capable of ensuring very rapid heating times and high levels of contact feeling, maximum performances in terms of grip and structural strength, in line with the performance of modern sports bikes.

To make it highly versatile and suitable for different types of vehicles and usage, the Centauro NS has been tested in a wide range of climatic conditions on European roads and tracks on different kinds of motorcycles (sport, super sport, naked, crossover, classic, etc.) and without forgetting to test how the tire worked along with the most modern vehicle management systems available on modern sports motorcycles (riding modes, dynamic suspensions, Cornering ABS, traction control, slide control, brake engine).

This approach, combined with the technology that Vredestein has developed for the NS, translates from the very first meters into riding pleasure, confidence and safety, combined with a highly balanced behavior, and raises the bar among road sport tires.

The Centauro NS will be available from the first quarter of 2021 in different sizes: 120/70 ZR 17 (58W) TL for the front wheel and 190/55 ZR 17 (75W) TL, 180/55 ZR 17 (73W) TL, 200 / 55 ZR 17 (78W) TL for the rear wheel.

The Centauro ST radial tire for sport touring was introduced in 2020 in two sizes: 120/70 ZR 17 (58W) TL for the front wheel and 180/55 ZR 17 (73W) TL for the rear wheel. The rear tire was offered in the standard single ply version and two ply configuration for motorcycles and/or heavy luggage.

The tests conducted showed excellent traction when exiting the corners and perfect control on both dry and wet roads, thanks to braking grip and handling.

Centauro ST boasts over 900 homologations in Germany. These represent the best proof of its versatility derived from a design developed to guarantee the best riding pleasure with any type of motorcycle.

The Xply Centauro ST sport touring tire has been designed with compounds derived from radial technology, resulting in an excellent road experience in a wide range of conditions and temperatures.

The Centauro Road is a sports radial tire with a zero degree steel belt.
It promises great results in terms of mileage and riding pleasure, and is the ideal tire for the BMW G310R, Bajaj-Dominar 400 or KTM 390/125.

The Centauro Road is available in these sizes: 110/70 ZR17 M / C 54W TL for the front wheel and 150/60 ZR17 M / C 66W TL for the rear wheel.
