Let's call it vintage or retro, the charm of the past has not only fascinated Woody Allen, but many others. We dream of the colors and atmospheres of past époques and we end up believing that the best time has already gone by. However, those who also know how to return from this journey understand that the golden age does not exist and that the present is the only time we have to build a future.
Zero Motorcycles with the SR/F has been able to capture some suggestions from the past, bringing back neutral and timeless colors and lines. However, it did so by bringing the most advanced technology to the bike.
This American naked bike is in fact powered by a 110-horsepower brushless electric engine with permanent magnets with a torque power of 190 Nm and capable of reaching a maximum speed of 200 kph.
What about battery range? The data calculated by Zero are 259 km of range in town, 175 in a mixed cycle and 132 on the motorway (considering a constant speed of 113 kph). This bike has been equipped with a 12.6KW lithium-ion battery and it can be recharged in 4 hours in the standard version with the integrated 3kW charger or in 2 hours for the premium version with the 6kW charger.
For those who want more battery range or faster charging there are two optional. The first is the 3.6 kWatt power tank which is capable of increasing range up to 359 km in the urban cycle and up to 180 km on the motorway. The second optional is the charge tank which halves the charging times, bringing them to 1 hour and 20 minutes for the standard version and an hour for the premium version.
There are 17 inches rimes, fitted with Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tires and the bike has been equipped with two 320 mm discs at the front and a 240 mm disc at the rear. It also features a 43mm Showa fork and a 40mm Showa shock absorber. The height of the saddle from the ground is of 79 cm and the total weight is of 220 kg.
