Few races symbolize the Extreme more than the Erzbergrodeo. A race that - in more than one way - represented the birth of the Extreme Enduro specialty, and which, not surprisingly, was the one WESS World Championship was built around, bringing together the great classics.
Taking part in it is not a joke, unless you go there with the sole ambition of starting the Prologue. If you are serious, getting ready is very important. That's why our journalist and rider Aimone Dal Pozzo, when he decided to try riding there again after a few years, left nothing to chance. He turned to an exceptional coach: Giò Sala, who won it back in 1998, as well as having raced it with the twin-cylinder KTM.
The race is, for us at Moto.it, an excuse to tell the story of the specialty, all of Aimone Dal Pozzo's preparation, and then how his race went. Three episodes in which - starting from the trip on a van, like normal enthusiasts, our heroes end up racing - we retrace this magnificent adventure. You can watch the videos which are here below!
