The BMW GS is a true legend. To be honest, the very first version was not really called GS but G/S. It was back in 1980 and a legend was born. A new way to go off-road just about everywhere, but with the pleasure on the road that only the boxer engine could offer you then: low center of gravity, more than enough power and wonderful output! Just like today.

Today we celebrate the 40th anniversary of the GS family. How? Offering the yellow and black coloring of the famous R100GS. In 40 years BMW has produced 1,2 million GS, divided by 6 generations of models. The new colors are dedicated to the whole range: from the small G 310 GS to the exclusive Urban GS belonging to the NineT family. Without forgetting the F range which includes the GS750, the 850 and the very comfortable Adventure 850.

At the top of the dreams of GS riders there's the R1250GS and 1250 GS Adventure. They are obviously equipped with the modern 136 hp shiftcam engine and feature the Pro riding modes and the new LED headlight.
