X-Legend Boots
After months of testing and development conducted in close collaboration with some of the best pro riders, Eleveit introduces the new X-Legend offroad boots
Eleveit introduces X-Legend, a highly technological and innovative boot, the historical core business of the Montebelluna company, offered in six different colors and characterized by a system capable of protecting the foot from lateral hyper-extensions and an additional rear system that prevents forward hyper-flexions.
A solution that guarantees an absolute protection of the foot without compromising its mobility and ensuring maximum freedom of performance while riding off-road.
The great attention to detail has always been one of the key features of Eleveit’s products, X-Legend is in fact equipped with micrometric adjustment locking levers positioned in four strategic closure points of the boot, ensuring a great precision, comfort and reliability in case accidental release.
The Controlled Forward Fleion is a system that controls and protects the forward and backward movement of the ankle, ensuring that it won’t go beyond its natural limit.
The system consists of a PU heel that extends in height until it hooks itself under the arch that binds together the inner and outer part of the boot. As the X-Legend boot and the foot flex forward, the heel becomes more and more tensioned, until it stops the movement of the ankle. The system, which is patented by Eleveit, guarantees an optimal forward/backward oscillation of the joint, preserving its integrity in risky situations and does not compromise the comfort of the rider.
Controlled Lateral Flexion is the other system patented by Eleveit. It has been adopted by the X-Legend boots and consists of a PU frame that guides the lateral movement of the ankle. The system is applied externally to the sides of the bootleg and at the height of the malleolus and is equipped with a central joint capable of adjusting the inclination of the foot. The upper plate of the skeleton is welded to the lower one through a metal stud that moves within two stop points. The lateral movement of the joint is thus mechanically controlled within the natural flexion, preventing excessive extension and above all incurring harmful twisting.
Eleveit X-Legend adopts a new attachment system that guarantees greater precision and comfort.
The levers are characterized by a steel crossbar. During the lacing phase, the micrometric adjustment strap that ends in a hook is inserted into the lever and firmly attached to the crossbar, ensuring a safe closure of the boot. The exclusive safety system, in case of accidental release or in case of a crash, allows the lever to remails anchored.
Eleveit X-Legend boot levers and straps are interchangeable.
The 3D lining guarantees maximum foot breathability. The inner lining of the off-road boots is equipped with a non-deformable 3D structure that facilitates the transpiration of the foot. The air captured inside the cavities of the three-dimensional filaments forms a sort of cushion that wraps around the leg and foot, performing a cushioning function. The result is an extremely light, fresh and comfortable fit, thanks also to the high elasticity of this fabric.
Eleveit has not only worked to make X-Legend a highly performing and safe boot in all its parts by patenting and designing safety and protection systems, it has also worked on the weight and comfort. X-Legend is thus a safe and comfortable boot, from the beginning, but it’s also very light.
Each Eleveit product is CE certified to certify compliance with the strict European safety regulations.
