Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade 2027: a sharper blade, now with an HRC Works edition
Honda reinvents its flagship superbike at EICMA 2026 with stronger midrange performance, a redesigned chassis, advanced aerodynamics and three versions, including the exclusive HRC Works Edition. Racing technology takes center stage in the new Fireblade
Honda unveils the completely redesigned CBR1000RR-R Fireblade 2027, a superbike developed with racing performance at its core.
With approximately 75% of its components redesigned, the new Fireblade promises improved track performance while maintaining Honda's traditional focus on rider control.
The 999cc inline-four retains essentially the same peak power but introduces two-stage variable-length intake funnels, improving midrange performance and throttle response.
The redesigned aluminum frame and swingarm feature optimized rigidity for better traction, cornering precision and rider feedback. Aerodynamic improvements and a lightweight titanium fuel tank complete the package.
The lineup includes the standard Fireblade, featuring Showa suspension, the Fireblade SP with electronically controlled Öhlins Smart-EC3.0 suspension, and the new HRC Works Edition.
Designed with racing homologation in mind, the Works Edition features mechanically adjustable Öhlins suspension, carbon-fiber aerodynamic components and dedicated racing technology, including an optional bottom-neutral shift system through the HRC Racing Kit.
With the 2027 Fireblade, Honda brings its superbike even closer to the racetrack, proving that the legendary blade is sharper than ever.
