Three interpretations of the same motorcycle, three different ways to experience adventure. At EICMA 2026, Honda unveils a thoroughly updated Africa Twin family, adding the new Enduro Sports to the standard and Adventure Sports versions. The newcomer is designed for riders seeking a more specialized off-road adventure motorcycle.

Andrea Venturini, Honda Communication Specialist, takes us through the key developments. The Enduro Sports was created in response to customers looking for greater off-road capability, featuring a 21-inch front wheel and slimmer bodywork. The Adventure Sports, meanwhile, retains its 19-inch front wheel and 24.5-liter fuel tank, focusing on long-distance touring.

The biggest technological breakthrough comes with the Adventure Sports Honda Sensing Ride, equipped with front and rear radar systems supporting adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection and collision warnings. These technologies work together with Honda's Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT).

Performance has also taken a significant step forward. The engine now delivers 119 hp and 119 Nm of torque, while the frame and swingarm have been revised and lightened. Across the entire range, Showa EERA semi-active electronic suspension with Honda Skyhook Control continuously adjusts damping to suit riding conditions.

The new Africa Twin range is expected in early 2027, with pricing yet to be announced. And what about a smaller-displacement Africa Twin? For now, Honda has no plans to introduce an adventure motorcycle positioned between the Transalp and the Africa Twin.
