When a brand decides to bring the experience accumulated in the paddocks of the Superbike World Championship directly into series production, the result is bound to entice sport riding enthusiasts . This is precisely the case with the new Caberg GP Carbon, the star of our latest Shorts video: a full-face helmet with clearly racing DNA, yet engineered to deliver top performance on twisty open roads as well .

The spec sheet speaks loud and clear right from the first touch: the outer shell, produced in two different sizes using a blend of fiberglass and carbon fiber, tips the scales at just 1,350 grams (± 50 gr) for the small shell size . This lightness is crucial for preventing neck fatigue during quick direction changes and intense rides. The aerodynamics are also born from the wind tunnel and the racetrack, as shown by the prominent rear spoiler which, working in synergy with the multiple air intakes and extractors, ensures high-speed stability and optimal airflow at all times .

However, a truly modern helmet is also judged by its active and passive safety features. In addition to the strict ECE 22.06 homologation and the classic aluminum double D-ring buckle, the GP Carbon features emergency quick-release cheek pads, a visor lock system, and the smart Caberg SOS Medical ID: an NFC microchip that allows first responders to immediately access the rider's medical data and emergency contacts simply by holding a smartphone near the helmet.

Finally, the standard equipment in the box is remarkably generous: alongside the clear visor with an included Pinlock Max Vision 120 lens, Caberg also provides a dark smoke visor right out of the box—already prepped for tear-off lenses—while keeping the interior ready for intercom systems . A complete package that proves how track-level performance and road versatility can coexist to perfection .
