Telling MotoGP stories through a young, entertaining voice without sacrificing in-depth analysis. That's the philosophy behind Warmuppers, a social media project launched in November 2024. We met Gianluca, one of its five founders, during CIV Racing Night at Misano.

Originally created by Luca and Danilo, the project soon expanded to include Gianluca, Fabio and Noemi, bringing together different backgrounds, skills and communication styles. Through Instagram, TikTok and X, the team covers motorsport with a mix of entertaining content and more detailed analysis.

Gianluca is particularly fascinated by racing motorcycle technology, describing these machines as genuine engineering masterpieces. Choosing between Ducati and Aprilia is almost impossible for him, while he is especially curious about the 2027 MotoGP regulations, particularly the reduction in aerodynamics and the introduction of Pirelli tires.

But his interest goes well beyond the premier class. Warmuppers' presence at CIV reflects the team's ambition to highlight national racing championships, which often receive less attention despite playing a crucial role in the present and future of motorcycle racing.

And if Gianluca could interview two riders? His choices would be Troy Bayliss from the past and Pedro Acosta from the present. Two very different personalities whose talent, determination and remarkable stories make them particularly fascinating.

Interestingly, Gianluca doesn't ride a motorcycle yet, although he admits to a lifelong fascination with off-road riding. Perhaps his next adventure will be to finally get behind the handlebars himself.
